Referee’s to get more assistance in making Decisions

Earlier, whatever assistance a Football match referee was to get, he had to get it from within the ground because all the linesmen or his associates would only be present in the ground, but, now the referees would be getting help from outside the ground too as a couple of the referees’ associates will be sitting away from the ground in front of computers and laptops and that’s where they would be helping him from.

So, that’s a sort of a big change in the decision making process in a Football game.

And the first big tournament to witness such kind of system will be the World Cup 2018 itself and as per Gianni Infantino, who is heading the Football administration in the world at the moment, this is pretty historical and this is helpful for everyone concerned, be it the referees himself because with this system in place, now they will not walk out of the ground thinking one of their decisions might have influenced the game. German public seems not Panicking

There is no rush in the German public to buy tickets of the coming Finland fixture which is going to be the final hurrah for one of their favourite sons, Bastian Schweinsteiger.

More than forty thousand seats are available in the stadium the match has been designated to, but, not even 50% of the total seats have been reserved up to this point and Joachim Low reckons it will really be a sorrowful situation if the seats happen to be empty on the evening of the match.

As stated by Low, what may happen to be the reason for a poor turn-out is that it’s not the best of the timings for a match like this as people have had a full dose of Football with a couple of big competitions taking place in the recent times in the form of Euro and Olympics and the domestic season has got off to a start too.

Low revealed that he got a call from Schweinsteiger earlier this month and as soon as he heard from him about his decision, he right away made the promise to the playmaker that the farewell match was surely going to be organized for him.

Antonio Conte is excited about being drawn with Spain

The coach of the Italian national football team, Antonio Conte said that he feels excited and stimulated about being drawn in the same group as Spain for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Spain has recently been going through a downhill road of underwhelming results as they still haven’t appeared to be able to completely bounce back from their early exit in the 2014 World Cup.

Nonetheless, even though Spain is clearly struggling and are not going through their best of times, Vicente del Bosque has at his disposal some of the best players in the world including the likes of: Sergio Ramos, Gerard Pique, David Silva, CescFabregas and Isco just to name a few of their main stars.

With this amount of talented players, Spain still is considered to be a huge threat but Antonio Conte is happy about this challenge.

Italy’s Antonio Conte said: “It is a tough group, however, I prefer to think that Spain could boost us,” Conte said after the draw in St Petersburg.I don’t like the word ‘difficult’. It will be a stimulating challenge against one of the strongest in the world. I am sure that we can do well and we can have good performances.Spain is not the best draw, but Germany would have been worse. On paper, Italy and Spain are the best teams; however, it will be decided on the pitch.”Read More

Schweinsteiger states that his team will not be underestimating Gibraltar

Germany’s Bastian Schweinsteiger states that his team will not be underestimating Gibraltar when they take on the minnows in an upcoming Euro 2016 qualifying match.

After recently suffering a shock 2-1 defeat against the United States, Germany will be pumped up in order to get a result. This match is heavily important for the Germans, as it represents their ability to stay above Scotland in the Euro 2016 qualifying race. They also need to keep up with Poland, who have a one-point advantage. Germany have suffered only one defeat in the qualification campaign so far, but it has proved very costly indeed.

Poland have been undefeated so far and it has helped them get an unlikely lead in the group D. Should the group finish the same way, Poland will have a great opportunity to keep their advantage in the Euro 2016 finals since they are likely to get a slightly easier group. The match against Gibraltar could end up in a thrashing, as the opposition have conceded a whopping 27 goals in the six games so far. They have managed just one goal in reply. Despite these statistics, Schweinsteiger says that the team is expecting a competitive game on Sunday.Read More

From 4 Clubs of Germany only 1 Advanced to Champions League

There were a total of 4 German clubs that managed to get their way into the Round of 16 in the Champions League; this was a very good amount of clubs that were representing Germany as it showed why the German nation was crowned as the champions of the world after winning the 2014 World Cup.

From those 4 German clubs, only 1 managed to advance into the quarter-finals as Bayern Munich is the only survivor that can continue competing in what is considered to be the most difficult European tournament for clubs.

Bayer Leverkusen was defeated by Athletic Madrid, Borussia Dortmund was destroyed after losing 5-1 against Juventus and Schalke 04 couldn’t get past Real Madrid.

Wolfgang Nierbach is the president of the German Football Association and he has stated that this is a sign of just how much teams have been improving and that the German teams have no time to rest if they want to continue being considered as the best in the world.

Wolfgang Nierbach said: ’’This exit confirms what we had said after the glorious World Cup. There is no time to rest, no time to ease off. We have to keep at it if we are to remain at the top. I hope Bayern can now make it to the final in Berlin.”

Schalke 04 almost managed to create a huge upset and take out Real Madrid from the Champions League but with an aggregate score of 4-5, the German side just narrowly avoided to secure their qualifying ticket to the quarter-finals.

For the past years, Bayern Munich has been the team that represented Germany best at the bigger stages as the squad has 6 players which performed in the finals of the 2014 World Cup. Manuel Neuer, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Thomas Muller, Philipp Lahm, Mario Gotze and Jerome Boateng are those players.

Jose Mourinho rumors that Andre may Leave Club

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that German international Andre Schurrle could leave the club in this transfer window.

The 24-year-old has seen very little first-team action since coming to Chelsea last summer for around £ 18 million from Bayer Leverkusen. Even though Schurrle helped Germany win the World Cup by making a crucial assist in the final against Argentina, he has failed to replicate the same form for Chelsea. Schurrle has scored four goals in 18 appearances this season, but most of his appearances have come late on as a substitute.

Mourinho feels that Schurrle has not done enough to warrant a place ahead of Eden Hazard or Willian, who are currently the first choice wingers at Chelsea. Chelsea are believed to be holding out for a £ 24 million offer from clubs interested in the German.Read More
