2002 FIFA World Cup Highlights
The 2002 FIFA Earth Cup, the seventeenth staging of the Globe Cup, was held in South Korea and Japan from 31 Might to 30 June. The two nations had been selected as hosts by FIFA in May 1996 and was the first tournament in its heritage to be hosted by two nations. It was also the 1st World Cup held in Asia. Brazil won the tournament for a record fifth time, beating Germany 20 in the last.
Wonder what the hell happened to France in this World Cup! They won the World Cup in ’98 at home then won Euro 2000 and then they played lousy in this World Cup! They didn’t even score a single goal!
Best world cup for a long time. If you watch the 2010 world cup and then this it’s ridiculous how much more open the football was in 2002. Teams were less scared of losing.

as long as i have lived… all world cups i witnessed was awesome! i eagerly waited every 4 years.. just dreaming that the next world cup would come tomorrow. but 2010… it was the biggest football dissapointment in my whole life!! i felt so sick after it and the very next day after the final i downloaded the documentaries of the 98,02&06 world cups and started recalling the true meaning of worldcups, not todays crap
p.s.im talkin only abt international football. club football is still awesome
